Pre-Authorized Donations:
You may contribute your annual Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation donation through monthly bank withdrawals or credit card payments. Please follow these simple steps:
- Contact the Foundation office for the banking Payor Authorization & Agreement form for bank withdrawals or a Credit Card Authorization form for credit card payments.
- Complete the appropriate form and attach a void cheque (bank withdrawals only).
- Please indicate the starting and ending payment dates.
- You will receive an annual official donation receipt at the end of the taxation year.

Online Donations:
You can contribute to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation through the secure site at: www.CanadaHelps.org. An official tax receipt will be sent directly to you by CanadaHelps and an acknowledgement will be sent from the SMHF.
Annual Receipts:
If you are a frequent donor and should you wish to eliminate multiple receipts and minimize administrative costs, you may request an annual receipt which will be issued to you at the end of the taxation year.
Memorial Giving
This is a thoughtful way to help. More often, people are giving to charity in lieu of flowers at the time of the passing of a loved one. Families and individuals indicate their wish to provide memorial gifts to Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation to the Funeral Director, and the details will be looked after for you. We will let the family know about each gift and the donor will receive recognition as well as an official tax receipt.

Clubs and Organizations
Through their many contributions to the Foundation, Clubs and Organizations play an important role. We are always pleased to present a program at any Club meeting or to work with a local Organization in raising funds to support our local Hospital.
Special Events/Campaigns
From time to time, the Foundation may sponsor community events or undertake special appeals. Your support of these activities will ensure their success.
Corporate Giving
Communities grow with the support of Corporate philanthropy. Work with your employer to support your Foundation through payroll deductions, organize or sponsor a special event, or simply give annually.

Planned Giving
Planned giving broadens the options for donors to the Foundation in that the gift may be made out of your assets rather than income.
