Non-Golf Golf Tournament
Everyone can participate! Just go to Non-Golf Golf Tournament Donations to make your donation. By using the special campaign page on the Foundation’s website your secure contribution will be included in the total.
Tournament Rules:
- Every $1000 raised is one “hole”
- Every donation in any amount is welcome and received with thanks
- Tournament is open to everyone – SRA members and non-members alike
- Objective is 18 holes, like our normal golf tournament (Wouldn’t it be great if we were able to play with the Pros and reach 72 holes like a PGA tournament?)
- Donation Levels:
- “Golfer” – $100 to $249 (If you want, make it a “Really Truly Socially Distant Foursome” by joining with friends and sending an email to SRA with all four names )
- “Non-Hole Sponsor” – $250 to $499
- “Groundskeeper” – $500 to $999 (celebrates the unsung heroes of a good golf course)
- “Non-Hole in One” – $1,000 or more
- “Non-Tee Times” are any time between July 11, 2020 and August 13, 2020.
Non-Golf Awards (by virtual draw):
- Best “Tee Non-Shot” – $25 Saugeen Shores “Chamber Bucks” (4 to be awarded)
- Closest to the Pin – $100 Saugeen Shores “Chamber Bucks” (1 to be awarded)
- Saugeen Shores Healthcare Lottery Tickets – 5 pack of $10 tickets (2 to be awarded)
- “Great Sport” prizes – the coveted new Southampton Residents’ Association imprinted face mask – 5 to be awarded.
- Every “Non-Hole in One” donor will receive an official certificate of recognition.
Here’s the fine print:
In order to “play” for the various donation levels and awards, contributors must consent to letting Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation disclose your name and donation amount to the President of the Southampton Residents’ Association. Names (but not donation amounts) of Foursomes, Hole Sponsors, Groundkeepers and Hole-in-One winners will be disclosed at a “non-awards ceremony” when tournament results are announced unless anonymity is previously requested. Corporate donors are welcome. Draws for the Non-Golf Awards do not depend on the amount you donate to the Foundation. Draw winner names will be disclosed. Winners are responsible for any applicable taxes. Draws will be made following the end of the tournament. The Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation is a registered Canadian charity and all donations are subject to the rules thereof.
