Thanks to your donations and participation in our spring events, we have improved Emergency Care in Saugeen Shores.

This past May our Spring Campaign in support of equipment needs for the Emergency Department was full of fun activities to get people just like yourself in our community out and having fun.

One of our most fun events was the Sunday, May 28th Family Fun Day and Guinness World Record attempt to build the longest line of cookies, there were so many smiles and out pouring of support and lots and lots of cookies 🙂

A huge thank you to all of our Spring campaign sponsors, without the amazing support of local businesses these community activities wouldn’t take place.
Thank you to:
Southampton Foodland
Wark Milk Transport
OPG
Voortman Bakery
NPX
Shoreline Power Group
Judy Rich
Kristens’ Pharmacy
Wholesale Hardwood and Flooring

And many thanks to all of the wonderful volunteers who helped us put on these events and ensure the weekend was a success.

A New Community Partnership

Kate Cammidge – Irwin was on site to kick-off her 2020 community partnership with the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation.  For the year of 2020 Kate has committed to donating a portion of the proceeds from every real estate transaction that she does this year to the Hospital Foundation.

“We are excited to be working with Kate in 2020 and launching our Community Partnerships program” said Foundation Board Chair Mary Jo Arnett. The Community Partnerships program allows local businesses to partner with the Foundation in any capacity that works for them to donate to the Foundation through the year. “This new program is great because it works for smaller businesses, entrepreneurs as well as large companies” said Foundation Executive Director, Tracy Murray. “You can customize your partnership so that it works for your business. It’s a win win for local business and the Foundation.”  Murray said.
