The first ever “All Day Picnic Backyard Ultra” is being organized by a local group of runners who work in health care, police services and Bruce Power. The event takes place at the Woodland Trail Head off on Concession 10 on September 14th. The event starts at 7:00am and runs to 7:00pm. Runners will do 6km loops starting at the top of every hour. Participants can do as many as they want, and everyone is a finisher.

The organizers have all been touched by the Saugeen Memorial Hospital and recognize the value of a strong health service in Saugeen Shores. This is the driving force why they chose to support the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation.

The All Day Picnic team is hopeful for a fun, energetic event that promotes healthy living at the same time supporting the best cause.
